"Another World (známa v USA pod názvom Out of this World a v Japonsku ako Outer World) je akčná plošinovka s prvkami adventúry, prekladaná krátkymi filmovými scénami, vytvorená programátorom a dizajnérom menom Eric Chahi v roku 1991 na Amige. Zdrojový kód, grafiku a obrázok na krabicu vytvoril Eric Chahi, hudbu skomponoval jeho krajan Jean-François Freitas. Hra pri svojom vydaní upútala svojim netradičným inovatívnym a umeleckým spracovaním, ako napríklad chýbajúci HUD, kompletná vektorová grafika, filmové scény a zabezpečila si tak status kultovej hry medzi fanúšikmi aj kritikmi.
Od svojho vzniku bola portovaná na takmer všetky známe platformy počítačov, kozol aj mobilných telefónov. V roku 2006 došlo k jej znovuvydaniu pre Windows XP vo vyšších rozlíšeniach.
Jediné pokračovanie s názvom Heart of the Alien: Out of this World parts I and II vyšlo v roku 1994 iba na platforme Sega Mega-CD. Hra bola označená ako jedna z najlepších DOSových hier všetkých čias na serveri MobyGames."
